During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss project goals and budget. This allows us to determine the feasibility of your project. Determining your aesthetic vision and ensuring the right species is used is an important aspect of this initial dialogue. We do not limit ourselves or our clients to a stale inventory of wood from bulk mills. Instead we hand select each piece per the individual project from one of our salvage wood suppliers throughout the state. Only once we agree on the perfect piece do we move forward with the Design Agreement. We will also take time to go over some basic space planning to ensure the appropriate scale and size of your piece.
The Design Agreement is the finalization of the collaboration of our design discussions. All of the project details, terms and costs are covered in this document ensuring your final piece is everything discussed and planned with no surprises.
We require payment in full to begin all commissions.
From conceptual meetings, space planning, pre-selections, and so-on, the Design Phase now comes to life and your piece is created. Throughout this portion of the process you will receive periodic updates and photos as the process progresses.

Pricing commissioned pieces is not making guesses. Even though this is technically art when it comes to cost we use a very scientific approach. Utilizing a proprietary Board Foot Calculator, depending on species and availability or uniqueness of the wood we can insure accurate, fair pricing. We require payment in full to begin all commissions.
